From humble beginnings, Paul Bauer founded Major Electrical in 2005 with just one apprentice, focusing initially on the commercial sector before expanding into mining. Today, the company has grown to serve Mackay and the Bowen Basin, boasting on-site capabilities and a 6600m2 Paget location featuring two workshops, two admin buildings, and a large fleet of vehicles and equipment. With over 60 employees, Major Electrical is committed to supporting the local region, nurturing talent from within, and maintaining a dedicated team of long-term employees.
